First, our room was not as clean as it should have been. We stayed from Thursday through Sunday, and during that time, housekeeping never came to service our room—not once. We had to take our own trash out to prevent it from overflowing, even after I specifically asked housekeeping staff who were cleaning our floor. The pool table and game area were also not available like they are at other Tru locations. Additionally, having to show my driver’s license to check out the pool table was frustrating. Once I am checked in, I should not have to carry my ID around the hotel. We specifically chose this location because it advertised an indoor heated pool. Unfortunately, the pool was extremely cold. I brought this issue to the attention of three different staff members, and it was never addressed. Breakfast was another disappointment. On our first morning, the pancake machine was broken, and on our last day, the toaster oven was not working. Food frequently ran out, and we had to wait for items to be refilled. Although egg toppings were listed, they were never available. The coffee also did not seem fresh—it was very dark, bitter, and difficult to drink. Overall, this was by far the worst-maintained Tru hotel we have ever stayed at. That said, the staff member who checked us in was excellent—very friendly, helpful, and professional. They even followed up to see whether the pool issue had been addressed, which we truly appreciated.

Hotel was nice and clean. The morning breakfast was very good. I was dissapointed they did not clean the room after my first night's stay (they clean rooms every other day), and was very dissapointed their indoor pool was closed, as that is the reason I selected this hotel.

Hotel property is very clean! However , there are NO beverages on the property except for a water station in the lobby. No soda machine , no mini store - nothing. Good area with restaurants within a few feet and shopping plaza within 1-2 miles for convenience. Disappointed upon arrival with the cleanliness off room. Had to switch to another room that was up to par. Disappointed that housekeeping only comes every other day which was an inconvenience. Bedding had a body odor stench which was unacceptable and had to request for clean bedding. When housekeeping did come, cleanliness of floors was still not up to par. (Dirt and particles left behind). Lobby was dirty for days with garbage bins in hallways left foil with foul smells for days. Breakfast area wasn’t maintained with cleanliness during and after open hours. Seemed like front desk was in charge of keeping that area clean which was not done efficiently nor professionally. The storing away of the remainder of breakfast food was EXTREMELY concerning as it wasn’t properly handled nor stored away with proper equipment. The exposure to cross contamination was highly alarming. Floors were filthy with spills of liquid drinks and crumbs of food left for days before clean up. Same with elevators and garbage disposals on every floor near the elevators were left filled with garbage and foul odors. Front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating to their best abilities. Area seemed safe and convenient. This hotel is only Good for a short stay! My stay was 11days and wouldn’t suggest it to anyone. For this hotel to be connected with Hilton, it was disappointing.
