Front entrance is in a weird spot, behind the Black Bear Diner. But no biggie once you find it. There's plenty of parking. Right by the highway but quiet once inside.
The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly and informative.
The hotel is definitely old. Some rooms exit outside, and some are into a poorly ventilated hallway. (Didn't smell bad, but definitely stuffy).
We had an upstairs room. There is no elevator which was fine with us and the gentleman at check in confirmed that we didnt mind before assigning us a room.
The room was pretty stuffy and the AC was pretty noisy, but got the room cooled down.
The fridge was hot. Would've been nice if that was cold already.
Pillows and towels were great and plentiful. Mattresses were old and sunken in the middle. Sink faucet sprayed all over.
The large TV was nice, walls seemed insulated enough, and the breakfast was great.
Overall, the hotel is definitely old and outdated. But the kind staff does what they can and it was a decent budget option right off the highway.
