「Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was fairly quiet and we slept well. The maids do a good job. The front desk people were efficient and pleasant. The internet service was almost non-existent. The breakfast consisted of a packaged small cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. No juice. No variety. No fruit. Nothing else. 「This was such a delightful stay! My daughter and I had a weekend away and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The grounds are impeccable, there are views from every side, the grounds are covered in flowers and vineyards. We loved the pool area and wine reception as well as the breakfast. The only thing I will say is it isn’t a celiac friendly breakfast buffet, but any buffet wouldn’t be. This is hands down the best stay on the western slope! Do not skip this one!」

「The beds were alright and the breakfast was alright very typical of any cheap hotel. The issue is they say they have these different amenities and then they really dont. I have a picture I wish I could have. They have a pool but it is full of green algae and mold. The shower had black mold in the grouting and when you pull the bathtub to make the shower. Half the water comes out the spout and half out the shower head. This place needs a lot of work. if you are okay paying for everything but...

「Maisson de Terre was a great base for exploring the Grand Mesa. Fascinating home. Great hosts. Terrific breakfast. Terrie and Marty and Ivy (pup) were very accommodating to us and our dog. At first when driving there, it seemed in the middle of nowhere. Then we realized that was part of the appeal (and the Grand Mesa is very accessible). We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again.」
