“There was no Breakfast. The pool was not open. Water pressure was so low you couldn't take a good shower.”

“The motel was clearly built some time ago but has been considerably upgraded and was very nice. I didnt arrive until late at night, had a parking spot right in front of my room. The lady who was at the front desk was great - a problem with the key lock on my room was taken care of quickly. The room was very clean and quiet and I got a good night's sleep. I got an early morning wake up call right on time. I'd be happy to stay again - thanks.”

“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”

“The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for……

“When arrived the front desk lady was on a personal call. The guy also working that was doing something else saw us in line and told her we were there. She gave us a room key. We walked to the room and the refrigerator had old food from another guest and a cup with lipstick on the desk. We asked for another room. The guy gave us a new room he was very kind about it. The second room the window didnt have a lock on it. Also the pool was not in use.”

“MOUSE FECES on the bed! Absolutely DISGUSTING - anyone valuing their health / safety should stay FAR AWAY! Was one of the only places left on Expedia on Memorial Day weekend, not the best reviews, but I thought how bad could it be for a night after Busch Gardens? I should have turned and ran when I pulled in the parking lot and saw vagrants that appeared to be living in this motel doing drugs in clear view on the sidewalk. Quickly rushed my kids inside, locked the door behind us and immediately……
