This property was in the optimal spot in downtown Des Moines , walkable or short drive to any big hubs spots. The owner was easy to communicate with and pleasant ! Parking was right out front but you do have to pay .50 per hour from 9-9 Monday - Saturday .

Cleaning assistants were there when I arrived an hour after check in time.The room had a bad odor. The window unit air conditioner was very loud. The communications were automated and not personalized. The picture did not accurately display the age or state of the apartment

No hot water was a deal breaker

Basic small studio in old well secured elevator building. Creaky wood floors made me not want to move around too much but was not bothered by noise from upstairs; nice quiet space beside that. Metal mini-blinds only on windows (no light blocking curtain) and early 10 am check out make this space best for early risers.
