“George and Subhas home was perfect for our family to spend a weekend in southern Connecticut while in town for the weekend to visit friends. We have two young daughters (age 1 and age 6) and always try to find places to stay where they can have their own room. The rooms were very spacious and clean, with VERY comfortable king beds. “Wow! I wish we could have stayed here more than just one night! The host was so accommodating of our last-minute reservation and provided friendly and thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. This home is stunning! Careful planning and top-of-the-line finishes clearly went into every detail of this beautiful family home and we were so comfortable in every space. “The location of this apartment was conveniently close to a graduation we attended. As promised the rooms were very cool and comfortable while the temps outside reached 100. BEds were very comfortable. Communication with host excellent. Would stay here again. Parking was a little tricky on the street”

“The sheets were way over bleached and burned my skin. The bed is way too soft and the sofa is uneven and sinks. The area is quite scary especially at night, and it is surrounded by vacant lots and construction zones. Most of the other stores in this building are closed, and homeless people walking around. The cleaning products use have a distinctively bad smell that even the air conditioning couldn’t eliminate, and the air conditioners are so loud you can’t hear the tv if they are running.”

“This place is just like the pictures. Very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The view is fantastic! The linens are hotel-like and the kitchen is very nicely stocked. We stayed two nights and walked around the lake, made for a great stay. Definitely recommend. ”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
