“We loved our stay in this lovely apartment during our week in Mount Kisco. The well-stocked kitchen had all the essentials we needed (cookware, utensils, foil, paper towels, etc.) as we prepared breakfast and lunch there each day.We visited in January, and although it was cold outside, we were quite comfortable and warm inside.The bedroom was spacious and allowed plenty of room to unpack and settle in. The bed was comfortable.The neighborhood was quiet and relaxed while still being close and……

“We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. ”

“This house is massive! I opened a door expecting it to be a garage. It wasn't: it was a huge 5th bedroom! It was clean and we really appreciated that the refrigerator was totally empty (we're so used to having other people's condiments left in fridges). We are so appreciative that he allowed our rotten chihuahua-mix join us. Thank you! The owner was so responsive and flexible and the location was ideal. We loved going to First Village Coffee and recommend it.We had so much fun with the foosball……

“This is a small cabin located down a slight hill from the owner's house. They did a wonderful job of clearing out trails behind the property throughout the woods, between cabin and the road. The town of Chappaqua is beautiful and located close by, with any amenities you may need. The cabin is modified from an old stone and log structure and had all the basics you will need for a rustic retreat. Joanne was very friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy seeing guests have a pleasant stay.”

“Friendly, clean and comfortable. Rooms were sizeable for a standard hotel room, but the real draw is the property itself. Grounds are extremely pretty and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, and felt very safe. A cool place to just hang around if you have ample time. Seems to be popular for gathering and group retreats, if that is of interest, and seems an ideal place for that. I think for the money, it's a great deal, and would take it over a chain location any day. I highly recommend.……

“I have stayed at the Nyack Hotel before and had a good experience, which is why this last stay was so disappointing. After driving four hours from Boston, I arrived around 12:15 a.m. and was exhausted. There was a large wedding party at the hotel, and when I went to check in there were only about three groups ahead of me. Unfortunately, there was only one front desk agent working. Each group seemed to take an extremely long time because there were lengthy conversations, multiple payment……

“Location is convenient, but background noise from I-87 might be a problem for light sleepers. Room/bathroom was very clean; Maria at the front desk is wonderfully accommodating; breakfast is hot, with nice options (scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, sausage, bacon); walkable to downtown.”
