「Staying at the Clontarf Castle was gorgeous! So much history attached to this 11th century castle. There is a wonderful cemetery that belongs to the castle and worth visiting Would easily go back again」

「Rooms are big enough. Breakfast was great. The surrounding neighbourhood is nice and quiet but within reach to city centre. Highly recommended. 」

「Booked a weekend as we came over for the rugby. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. we ate in the restaurant on the Friday and had a lovely meal. The hotel is very busy on rugby days but it doesn’t impact on the service. Wish we could have stayed longer. Taxi from the port 20 mins and €22. Bus and dart from the port €5 each and took over an hour.」

「The location and external facade were amazing. However, our room was right next to the hotel events centre. With a wedding until 12:30 and a noisy pack up until 2:30, it wasn’t very restful. Additionally, our room was serviced even though we had a sign out not to enter and they automatically checked us out early, even though we hadn’t left the hotel yet or running late.」

「It was so noisy (room 301) we had to switch rooms and then there was no mirror where you have to dry your hair in that room (303) Lightning was poor. No AC which I was aware but the window and yes I mean one teeny tiny window opened about 2 inches. One little fan in the room and that was it. Great area of town for shopping and bars but partying was beyond loud all hours of the night. 」

「The check-in staff did not proactively mentioned that the access to our room was different from other rooms, until we could not use the lift after we tapped our access card. Afterwards, we were susprised to learn that there was no lift access to our room. The room would be more comfortable if there are more than 1 chair available, considering there are ample amount of space. It was also quite noisy facing the main street while windows needed to keep open for ventilation with no air con...
