「The service was extremely poor. In the morning, my room door was opened for no reason, and when they saw that I was inside, they immediately closed it again without giving any explanation or apology. Later, I reported this incident to the front desk, but the staff seemed indifferent and simply said it might have been housekeeping. However, this is a serious safety issue — why would someone open a guest’s door without knocking first?」

「If you are on your way through this small town, I would recommend this Inn, clean, recently renovated and simple breakfast with bagels, pastries and cereals. Nice thing is that parking is gated and locked over night. It's very quiet and we had a good sleep, but it wasn't on our driving way to AZ...so most likely will not come back.」

「The room was as expected - I have stayed in the past and had a warm connection with the proprietors, a couple who made my stays pleasant. The issue that I had with the Budget Inn Motel was that the current managers/proprietors were woefully ignorant about the federal regulations regarding Registered Service Animals. After paying, after having received my room key, I mentioned that I planned to stay again at The Budget Inn Motel, soon, for 6 months, while working at a nearby facility, and...

「Staff insisted they took cash only, even with a card reader on the counter. No atm. Kinda rude. Was not notified of this at time of booking. They have a $20 lost room key fee as well.」

「The room was dirty with dust on the side table and drawers which I dusted with wipes. Also, the bathroom has no floor mat and hand towers which we requested the following day. The shower is slow and the shower curtain is too high that it hardly reach the tub that the water drips to the floor. I am a bit disappointed that it did not meet the "holiday inn" standard that we normally receives from other locations.」
