「All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. 「Host had problems with payment process and sent various unclear messages trying to get a bank transfer ahead of the booking rather than use the secure payment process. Felt like a scam. Had a call on the arrival day to tell us the property was possibly not suitable for our stay and could we move to somewhere further from the city centre. The heating and hot water was turned off and the access to the boiler was in another building which we had to go in to to fix. The kitchen was not clean on...

「Beyond our wildest expectations. This home is charming, warm, easy to relax, and a perfect place to use as a base camp for exploring a wonderful city. The location is hard to over hype, as you are staying in the entrance to the wonderful park on one side, and the city on the other. The host was tremendous to work with, and made out stay so incredibly easy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Edinburgh. 」
