「Great staff, great food and central for loads of things to fo」

「This was a 3 night stay, with 11 other golfers, in the heart of Wantage, It is an old property in the town square. Rooms were small but adequate. Bathroom was well maintained and clean. (Nice towels). We dined there once and breakfasted three times. Food was good. Service was very professional and friendly. The bar was well stocked and lively whilst we were there. Only criticism was the hotel seemed very warm especially in the room. I had a fan and could open the window etc but it did not...

「The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!」

「Clean spacious room. The bar and restaurant were good and the staff were very friendly. Parking on site in a pretty quiet residential area. Definitely recommend and would stay again.」

「Room was clean and staff worked to keep it so. Staff were good at providing a decent service and giving advice. No problem with parking although I do not think it was full up whilst we stayed there. Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning.」

「We stayed one night for a wedding party. Room was clean and comfortable and staff friendly and welcoming. Nice breakfast the following morning with good choices. Only downside was the road noise which was constant all night so you need earplugs. Other than that nice place.」
