“We had a wonderful stay here during our Puerto Rico trip. The location is beautiful and perfect for travelers looking for a more private and peaceful atmosphere. At night, hearing the sounds of nature and the coquí frogs singing made it feel extra special. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us recommendations for dinner spots and advice for exploring El Yunque. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed chatting with them each morning. The drive up is a bit rough but……

Something I recommend is to rent a car so you can always go outside and eat in local restaurant. The restaurants inside the resort is overprice, breakfast food is good and the restaurant Nectar is good. Other restaurant is not worth it. “Otium was very responsive. The three bedrooms and full/queen sized beds were clean and comfortable. There were a few issues with the water pressure but I’ve come to expect that throughout the Caribbean. When needed, Walmart was about 15 mins away and the ferry was a short drive as well. My only real complaint were the barking dogs nearby. The smaller yappy dog barking at 2am really killed the relaxing sounds of the rainforest and woke me up repeatedly. If it weren’t for the dogs, this would be……
