“Gorgeous decor. Room had no full length mirror, no hairdryer. Staff was lovely. Breakfast could have had made-to-order items.”

“Everything was wonderful EXCEPT no air conditioning so the whole hotel felt like a sauna (we were there during a heat wave in May) and they didn’t do table service for dinner so we had to order our food and drinks from the bar, which isn’t the end of the world but knocks a star off the rating. “This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees.”

“Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. ”
