"Great staff at both the front desk and the dining room. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom. Had late dinner in the dining room with great service and food was good. Free breakfast too! We chose it because of its close location to Dt. Jacobs but were really impressed with the hotel."

"A big shout out to all the staff working at the front desk. They could not have been more professional. I noted on a pad a few tweaks to the room we stayed in I thought the management should consider. Normally, this would be a fool’s errand and met with a polite thank you. But not here. The person at the desk not only took time to read my list but gave very thoughtful responses, including the assurance that he would personally make sure the management saw it. I have no reason to believe he was not sincere. The entire hotel has been refurbished from top to bottom (when I lived in Kitchener in the late 60s there was a dive bar in the basement!). Now it is a well appointed restaurant and bar which served a deliscious and not overpriced breakfast. A memorable stay. We shall return."

"Our stay was excellent. However, we could not figure out how the hand-held nozzle in the shower worked, but it did not impede our stay. It would have been nice to have an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub in the indoor pool. The breakfast was adequate with food items refilled often."
