“The Fes medina is a sensory buffet of smells, beautiful craftwork, people and sounds. This homestay (Expedia should not really classify it as a hotel) was an authentic medina experience and made us feel like residents of the old town during our 3-night stay. The staff, which consisted of four teen boys, was very hospitable, walking us through the winding maze of alleys when we needed guiding. The room was cozy, and I mean cozy as in comfortable as well as small for a family of 4. The shower……

“We stayed here for one night and we really enjoyed our stay. We arrived at the hotel at around 9pm. It was raining heavily outside, so we were quite soaked. The hotel staffs were very warm, friendly and helpful when we arrived, handing us facial tissues to dry ourselves. They were very helpful with our luggages, helped us carry the two luggages up to our room. The hotel and room were nicely decorated in more of a contemporary style, very clean and tidy. “I don't even know where to start. Karim the manager was an angel; so kind, accommodating, and also knowledgeable about Moroccan history. Soumaya was fantastic with our endless requests and questions. And then Adil, Ibrahim, and Ayoub were charming/funny, professional, and hard working. “The riad was beautiful. We arrived in the afternoon and was first led into a reception area next to the courtyard, which gives us a wonderful view of the beautiful courtyard. We were then greeted with some mint tea and biscuits which were lovely. The staffs were all warm and friendly, and was very helpful with carrying our luggages upstairs. “I have stayed in quite many different hotels and this Riad is one of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. After a long trip from Sahara desert, I was stunned by the serene vibe of this Riad and had a refreshing shower here.
