another great trip in tuscany

8 of us stayed for 4 nights and it was fantastic! mario, the owner was gracious and expediant with messages. Mamma and Nonna pasta made a meal fit for kings ad queens!! still talking about it. 10 minutes from greve in chianti, 1 minute walk to pizza joinjt. 5 minute drive to duda restaurant, 10 minutes to filigne valdarno and its train station to florence. will be back again and again!

Great vintage Tuscany home.

This home was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful 3 story home with large rooms and typical Italian home decor. The host met us upon arrival and left us plenty of goods including coffee and rich chocolates. The top balcony has good views of nearby olive tree rows and grape vines. Nearby is a typical bodega where we stocked up on items. The home was clean, cozy and comfortable. We don’t rent homes on vacation to stay in them all day but this home gave you the feel of being a local. The home has a secure parking space and is minutes from the highway although it feels like your hidden much farther away. Rented three homes on this two week trip in Italy and it proved to be our favorite.

Großes Haus mit wunderschönen Blick ins Tal bis auf die Berge, perfekte Lage für Florenz, Pisa, Siena, Auto dafür notwendig. Wunderschöne Wanderungen direkt an der Unterkunft, freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer.Wir haben den Pizza-Ofen in 7 Tagen 4 mal benutzt…. Jedesmal ein Event! Zusammengestückeltes Geschirr und Küchenausstattung aus 8 Jahrzehnten… kultig! Sehr alte Steckdosen, Adapter aber im Haus vorhanden.

Heerlijk ruim

Rustige plek als basis voor ontdekken Toscane. Piepklein dorpje met toch 2 restaurants. Goede prijs voor huis met 4 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Eenvoudig en sfeervol ingericht. Veel door vorige gasten achtergelaten voorraad, goed kijken wat nog bruikbaar is. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door Carla in perfect Engels.2e sleutel zou erg fijn geweest zijn voor de keren dat we apart van elkaar iets ondernamen.

Average overall, however washing machine takes 3 hrs to wash, old appliances, eg toaster does not work, and heating is remote controlled and not constant as per agreement. Some days very cold in the property.

Lovely Holiday Home

We had a lovely 10 day stay at this holiday house in Tuscany, as a family of six, with three teenagers and a toddler under two. The hosts were lovely and the house was very clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again, if we decide to visit Italy again.

Perfectly located to explore the region.

We enjoyed a very relaxed 5 nights here. Warm welcome from our hosts. The house is very comfortable, staying cool in the hot August weather. Plentiful patios/outdoor seating areas allow you to find a cool spot all day long. Beds all very comfortable with plenty of towels/linens available. Kitchen very well equipped if you want to cook.Washing machine and dishwasher appreciated. WiFi was excellent....best we had during our holiday. Location of the house was superb. Short drive into Figline Valdarno, where you can find plenty of big supermarkets and restaurants/services. Lots of places to visit within an hours drive and 20/30 minute drive to beautiful Chianti towns and plenty of vineyards to visit on doorstop. Well stocked shop in the village however the local bar/restaurant didn't seem to open during our visit ( Mon-Sat in August).

Splendida vacanza!

Abbiamo fatto un lungo week end dal13 al 18 aprile 2017 e siamo stati soddisfattissimi della nostra scelta. La casa è molto spaziosa e situata in un luogo incantevole, un vera vacanza lontani dai rumori, ma allo stesso tempo vicinissima a tutte le città che volevamo visitare, Siena, San Gimignano, Firenze e Pisa sono state le nostre mete raggiunte senza difficoltà. Inoltre siamo riusciti a visitare le splendide colline del chianti oltre a partecipare al mercato dell'antiquariato di Greve e visitare alcuni castelli, da non perdere Montefioralle, è veramente incantevole. Che dire se potremo tornare in Toscana sicuramente la nostra scelta ricadrà sulla stessa casa, con padroni di casa, ospitali, cordiali e prontissimi ad aiutarci in qualsiasi occasione un caloroso saluto a Mirella e Gianni ed un grazie di cuore per tutto da Margherita, Dario, Laura e Greta!

Nice and clean. It felt like home!!

A great view of Tuscany! The Host and hostess were excellent! They even prepared a home cooked meal as a welcome gift!! We wished we could of stayed longer than 4 nights! Thank you! Also, Mario, the manager,was excellent! He gave us the information we needed to rent a car, sights to see and visit!! We highly recommend this villa!!
