A wonderful hotel in Florence. The staff were very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to start your day. Very conveniently located for exploring the historical sites in the center of Florence. We would definitely return here again in the future.

Location location! Everything is walkable from the hotel. Helpful staff and large rooms. Booked river view side and it was awesome. Nights are a bit chill inside the room so be prepared (i was not) till heater is turned on (in November i think). Recommended and i would book it again.

A perfect hotel! It’s in a good central position yet nice and quiet. My room had a lovely view, was very clean and the bed was comfy. Best of all were the friendly and very helpful staff. As a woman travelling alone this hotel was such a good choice and I will return again.

We had an enjoyable stay. The building shows its age in some places but our room was clean, breakfast was lovely. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, it was a quick walk to almost everything we wanted to see in Florence. Lots of shopping and great restaurants around. Comfortable beds. It’s a very old building but pretty well maintained and gives you that historical feel. Lots of steps. Not super high end but nice enough. Breakfast was not that good but Italians just don’t do breakfast.

It was in a good section of town. It was easy to get around. It was clean and well maintained. But if you have trouble climbing stairs or walking upstairs, the elevator only goes so far and then you have to walk up a flight of stairs if you’re on the third floor.

Great location. Staff was super helpful. The place felt very homey and welcoming. The room was good, clean, a bit on the small side, but not too bad. Two flight of stairs before making it to the elevator, so be prepared for that.

This is a small, historic boutique hotel with a fantastic location right next to the Ponte Vecchio and within walking distance to all the major sites and tons of restaurants and shopping. It is beautifully maintained with period furniture and we were fortunate enough to have a room with a river view. They offer a very nice buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price. The only downside of this hotel is that there are steep steps to get into the building and up several levels to get to check in. There is a very small elevator that goes from the second level, but it is only large enough for one person and a small piece of luggage. If climbing steps or carrying your luggage would be an issue, I would not recommend Hotel Alessandra.
