“Quick overnight stay at Hotel Portsmouth.
Staff was extremely responsive via text message during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Rooms were dark decor but probably this is keeping with colonial period theme decor. Breakfast in morning was nice with fresh fruit - yogurt - oatmeal and pastries. Very walkable to downtown area. ”

“Great place to stay. Beautiful xeriscaping in front and sides with a covered porch to rock and read under. The room was small (#6) but it had everything we needed. The towels and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were lovely; we had plenty of towels. I loved the keyless/cardless door locks to the home and room. In the main living room there were myriad K cup coffee’s including soy milk, half & half, and oat milk in the fridge. A different fridge was stocked with little bags of ice to use in the ice……

“The room and grounds were beautifully kept. The room was more like a suite. I don't know if they are all like that. We had a private screened in porch with seating, a lovely bedroom area with a King bed and soft. luxurious sheets. There was also a sitting or small living room area with a refrigerator and a beautifully done, renovated bathroom. The Inn was walking distance to the center of town. We highly recommend this Inn.
