Great room at end of beach. Do not crowded.

El Matador is at the end of the Santa Rosa Blvd on Okaloosa Is next to the Govt land. Not crowded. Excellent place. Condo was in excellent shape. All we needed. Very comfortable. Although not right on beach, great views of the Gulf. Spacious. Easy walk to beach. Loved it.

Great Spring Break!

We had a great stay at El Matador! The weather started out chilly, but warmed up nice by mid-week. The condo was nice, and as stated. The floors and bathrooms could have been cleaner, and a few of the dishes had to be washed before using. But overall, it was nice. My suggestion for anyone planning to stay here…be prepared to bring/buy most paper goods, foil, etc. that you may need. There are no extras of anything provided, it’s literally as stated. And very minimal towels too. Also…bring quarters for laundry, especially if not bringing extra towels!

Loved this spot for a family get away.

We loved our time here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The unit itself was very clean and well furnished. Kitchen was very stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. Shower pressure was weak. That's really the only complaint. Will likely return. Well worth the money. The gym and pools were pretty nice as well. Couple minutes walk and you are on the beach and the beach is beautiful here. This place offers privacy to the west that no other business on okaloosa island can offer.

Disappointed

The night we checked in the older man was rude and not helpful at all. Blamed the other couple for improper check in not letting them know their was an additional couple coming. The water pressure was awful, the air conditioner barely worked, the beds were uncomfortable and when asked about a late check out because our flight didn’t leave until 830pm we were refused and had to find somewhere to go for 9 hours. Won’t use the renting company again. The only positive about this building was it’s location.

Paradise

This unit has a warm and inviting beach vibe. The end unit location was perfect to view the ocean/beach/ sunny blue skies from sunrise to sunset and in between. We have been coming to El Matador for many years because of its location at the end of the island, the upkeep of the property, monitored entrance, and we would 100% return to condo 269 in a heartbeat!!!! Loved it!
