Responded quickly to any messages sent. Accommodation was basic and clean. It was fine for our stay in Madeira. Balcony view over the town was lovely.

Ideal in every way for us. We had a great holiday.The lower rating for family was given thinking of young children and the stairs could be a problem.All interactions with the owners were helpful, informative and punctual.We cooked and ate in some of the time and there was plenty kitchen equipment for that.

Der Blick von der Dachterasse ist superschön. Lage ist perfekt. Mit dem Auto ist man relativ schnell auf der Schnellstraße und zu Fuß kommt man problemlos in 15 min runter in die Stadt.

We had a very relaxing stay and our host was fantastic. It was our first visit to Madeira. We loved the balcony view - very picturesque with great views of the town and the sea. There was a fully stocked nespresso machine in the kitchen which was a nice touch and our host was very informative on where to eat and places to see. It was great to have beach towels provided. Overall a lovely stay.

Logement très agréable et très bien équipé. Très belle vue sur Funchal de la terrasse.Proche du centre ville / du port à pied.Places de parking gratuites à proximité, très appréciable !Cela a contribué à ce que nous passions un excellent séjour à Madère. Seul petit bémol s'il faut en trouver un, l'environnement est parfois un peu bruyant (comme souvent en ville), notamment à cause des chiens vivant à proximité.

Leider für 4 Erwachsene nicht passend, da das 2.Bett nur kürzere Matratzen und ein Ausziehbett hat und die Tür kein Schloss und keine Türklinke besitzt.Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter hat super funktioniert und wir konnten schon früher in die Wohnung. Zu Fuß ist es sehr anstrengend, da die Wohnung an einem steilen Berg liegt, aber das ist an vielen Orten in Madeira so. Das Wohnzimmer könnte wohnlicher eingerichtet werden. Sehr schöne Aussicht besonders von der oberen Terrasse. Hundegebell und Straßenlärm war manchmal nervig

Funchal stay

The apartment is well equiped, with good kitchen facilties and bedroom storage.The 2 outside balconies are well furnished and very useful - good place for drying wet things on first, great views from the top. We had diiner there a few times.The area is mostly very quiet, with the exception of the morning peak traffic and the barkiing dogs. The dogs barked at passersby and when we went onto the lower balcony. They also barked a few times at night, disturbing the whole neightbourhood. I'm a very light sleeper, my husband slept through most of it. There are dogs the world over.the location is very good, about 10 minutes walk down to town, very steep coming back up. there is a bus stop just yards from the front door. Parking is OK but avoid school pick up time around 5pm. Joao was very helpful and provided lots of information.A good place to stay.

A month in Madeira

The location of the property is excellent. Close to many points of interest and an exceptional view from the upper balcony. We stayed for 4 weeks, so the proximity to local cafes and small grocery stores was very helpful. The major shopping area and large grocery store was 15.minutes walk. The hill to the centre of town is steep, but we were prepared for that. Madeira is beautiful and Funchal is a fascinating town to explore. This property was a perfect base for that.
