“The cottage was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.”

“No air con made room and bathroom unbelievably hot. Room hot but given a fan so bearable- bathroom like a sauna. Needs a refurb. Drinks in lobby bar very expensive. Probably the best breakfast we have had in a uk hotel, very good. Couldn’t get into the other restaurant as fully booked so ate in the lobby and room where breakfast was. Fire alarm went off in middle of night which was fun.”

“I wasn’t impressed with the hotel. I had forgot my swim suit and the spa ladies were atrocious and very fake. The restaurant didn’t have enough meals for customers and poor service by the waitresses! The room was a twin bed when we were a couple. No music or entertainment all in all.. better to find a Holi park or glamping site”

“The hotel was in a fantastic setting and our room was great. We didn’t have an evening meal there so I can’t comment on that but the breakfast was disappointing. The staff were rude, a large number of tables were left with dirty plates etc even though it wasn’t that busy. We had to ask for basic things like glasses and milk to go with the tea etc because there weren’t restocking them for guests to use. The evening entertainment was fun although go would advise to go with plenty of time as the……

“The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as “chaos”. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate.”
