“I stayed at this hotel 4yrs. ago & the improvements are amazing. Looks as though it has had a complete overhaul. Immaculate decorations & spotlessly clean & fresh. Our studio was so spacious with stunning views over the golf course. We ate breakfast outside on our spacious patio. Will definitely stay here again as location is perfect for so many beautiful parts of the Cotswolds.”

“The room was below a premier inn a standard and price point well above that. Hair in the bath drain. Leaking shower onto the floor. Dirty towels. Dirty pillow cases. Unhelpful staff who wouldn’t even look at a support case for us. The spa you have to pay to use on top of a vast fee for a shocking room. Heating on full blast. No air conditioning. Spa pool water freezing. The breakfast standard hurt me to my core. The scramble egg clearly came from a packet and they were runny and top of that the……

“At check in I asked for walks in the area from the accommodation and the lady said she didn’t know. I would expect the customer services dept to be able to provide that information. I would also expect to be taken to the room rather than pointed in the right direction. Room good as expected for price - disappointing no mirror in bedroom and not good ventilation in bathroom. Milk not provided for tea in room. Restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon- plates and glasses weren’t cleared away which……

“Beautiful hotel! Sits on a golf course - wide, open spaces. Great walks among peaceful settings. Buildings were beautiful and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site was excellent. Teens enjoyed the spa/pool/hot tub area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - will return!”
