"The breakfast was amazing. Lots of good choices, and good for those with milk allergies. The pool is AWESOME. The staff are all very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well. Only downside is road noise if in rooms 1-10. Ask for room further back if you can. Also, there are no king beds, just queen. So Expedia had it listed incorrectly."

"Cold water and frequent blackouts "

"Close to airport. Poor communication on how to access the property. I reserved a two bedroom unit as I did not want to share a bedroom with my elderly parents who get up to use the bathroom all night long. When we arrived, there were two beds in the main bedroom and a second bedroom with absolutely nothing in it. While we could have moved the smaller bed to the second bedroom, it didn't have any AC and was blistering hot. I messaged asking for a new room or some kind of help and received no response. Why would I have booked a two room unit if I wanted to share a room? I ended up sleeping in the vestibule between the two bedrooms. While the main bedroom did have AC, it was an ancient mini split that barely cooled the room."

"Food was plentiful but not very good. Some staff seemed unhappy to be there or were downright rude (shuttle driver and guys transporting cleaning staff. Cleaning ladies themselves were good). Front desk staff was good. Property has great location but generally is worn down. Pool area is the best maintained of anywhere but rooms, buildings etc in substandard condition. "

"Room was clean and comfortable, staff were ok not overly friendly. Wifi good and strong, airport transfer free and easy. Food was overpriced and just ok."

"Beautiful location. Gorgeous sunsets, really nice pool, food was very good and the room was fine. The included hot springs were absolutely gorgeous and a highlight of our trip. I was a bit surprised there was no air conditioning in our room but realize that this isn’t widely available and wasn’t really necessary once it cooled down at night. We paid for a few of the additional adventure park activities (water slide and night hike) and they were excellent too. "

"Internet was terrible not working most of the time. Shower head terrible even after they tried fixing it. Toilet was leaking and making noise. Doom was not sealed properly so bugs came in. Toilet door squeaking. No mini fridge on the room and had to beg for one. No microwave coffee pot or blow dryer. No electricity in the bathroom. Tv was not working well and couldn’t connect to our Netflix account (we could do it in other hotels in CR) the Jacuzzi was boiling hot on the night we wanted to use it and no one could go inside (including other guests) but i think it was ok on other nights. The breakfast was not tasty at all! They managed to ruin even the scrambled eggs… the only plus on this hotel was the pool but i do not recommend staying there. "

"Great place to stay and enjoy the peacefulness. Incredible and thoughtful staff (Connie and her husband who are managing the property are the nicest people, who obviously love and enjoy what they do), unbelievable views, great like home-made food. "

" A long and bumpy ride up to the lodge. As soon as you check in they force you to pay for breakfast as you are disoriented and tired from the ride. You are told you are not allowed to decide in the morning if you are even hungry. Paid for two for breakfast. In the morning only one could eat breakfast because the other was sick. Asked for a refund for the one, two weeks later never received it compensation. Also Couldn’t even open my balcony door because the outside smell of sewage. Paper thin walls where you could hear everything next door…Too bad as place has potential. "
