“It's a nice place to experience the traditional Japanese living house. It's good to have 3 sizable beds for 3 persons. The room is clean and quite spacious. Shopping areas, good restaurants, convenience store and metro station can be found in a few minutes walking distance from the house. ”

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“There were 3 of us travelling - myself with two teen daughters - we felt safe and comfortable and we stayed for 4 nights. The location is unbeatable - 6 min walk to Aeon Mall, 7 min walk to Kyoto Station, the local 7-11 Store is a Yamato luggage delivery one, there is a washing machine but no dryer, but we found a laundromat along the way to Aeon Mall to use the dryer, so that's no problem. We left the accommodation tax on the table when we left. One only downside for us was that the mattresses……
