“While the cabin was clean it was way smaller than expected. Hardly enough room to change your mind. Very small bathroom, however the shower was roomy. The listed grill was shared, down the road behind other rentals. The approach road was a mile of washboard, very rough and dusty. I wouldn’t recommend.this rental unless it was the last minute rental.”

“So so disappointed! The room was pretty much wall-to-wall bed (king size) and the area around the bed was so narrow barely room to walk with one side only able to walk sideways. The room could have been cleaner; dust was thick on some baseboards. On second night, smoke alarm on the (12 ft?) high ceiling started beeping loudly like it needed the battery changed. We called to the office to tell them and it was so loud that we couldn’t sleep (this was in the evening); she said she’d call……

“The property is beautiful and as advertised. My only problem was not able to take a hot shower. We didn't shower the first night to help them conserve water because of a sign on property asking for conservation of water of where we could. I am very familiar with using facilities with a tankless hot water heater as this one had for I have them in my home. I ran the water for at least 10 to 15 min trying to get it hot but to the best I could get was lukewarm. Interesting the kitchen sink put out……

“Pros: remote, property backs up to the national forest, beautiful night skies, reasonably quiet, host makes check-in and check-out very easy, some cell phone receptionCons: uncomfortable bed, the AC unit didn't seem to work on a particularly hot night, a kind of...musky smell? Due to the heat at night, we left a night early. Maybe would have been better on a cooler night? but didn't feel we got much value”
