At check out to drop off the key I was invisible in the office, with what seems like the owner and 2 employees all on their phone? 」

「This is in a great location, close to lots of restaurants and shops. It’s also close to Assateague and its beautiful beach and lighthouse. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We also liked having a patio. I would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing visit.」

「The people that work there are PHENOMENAL. The place is a little older but had all the island life amenities we needed. A soft, clean bed. A hot shower with good pressure. And black out curtains. Our room also had a kitchenette and a big mini fridge. Employees were kind and attentive. Great seafood restaurant up the road a bit, amazing access to the National Seashore. We were there end of March 2024, so off season. The island is a wonderful adventure. I don't see myself returning during peak...

「It's kind of gone downhill a little bit the rooms definitely need to be updated painted caulked there was hair in the bathroom by the tub and a little musty smell」

「Great location on Chincoteague Island, in between downtown and the beach. Quiet property. Lovely path to small deck, just beware of droppings everywhere!😂 We booked a 2 bedroom through Vrbo, but got there to find only one. Owner knows so this discrepancy should be rectified.Definitely will come back:)」

「We only had a short stay to relax away from work but the weather didn’t cooperate (rainy and windy). Luckily the cottage was cozy and we enjoyed our books and each other. Only suggestion, need a sponge or brush to help in cleaning up after meals. Would definitely recommend to others」

「Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic.」
