Peaceful

Great quiet long weekend. Very comfortable accommodations with everything for preparing meals. We loved making a fire in the wood stove. The furnishings and art were simple and attractive. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect get away!

We just loved our get away to this wonderful house. It was so quiet, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to utilize the kitchen a lot! The book of information was really helpful too! There was a beautiful backyard with two couches and a beautiful table to sit out there and just chill out. It was amazing! I would highly recommend it! Check in and check out was a breeze! We will be back! What a beautiful area and a great place to come back to after exploring the beautiful landscape!

A Magical Weekend Away

A stunning home that made for such a relaxing and wonderful weekend away from the city. The home is beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything you could ever need. It's also located just a few minutes away from the coast and main part of town which made it easy to grab coffee, groceries and enjoy the beaches. My only complaint is that nearly every windowsill/corner/etc. had cobwebs, a few with dead spiders lying around. This was mostly ignorable, except for the ones above the couch which we cleaned up so we didn't have to worry about spiders joining us while watching tv. Regardless, the weekend was everything we wanted and more, and we'll definitely be back!

Woodsy Escape

We had 2 couples and we all loved ‘the vibe’ of this mid-century woodsy home. The deck was terrific & nice furniture. The beds were comfy & the shower pressure was good. The kitchen was fantastic and very well stocked. We loved just hanging out, playing games, etc.

Rainbow Ridge retreat

The Rainbow Ridge property above the town of Gualala is a wonderful place to rest, relax, & explore a beautiful section of California coastline. The home is very comfortable, has a well equipped kitchen, nice linens, blankets, pillows and throws. This is a quiet, private property only five minutes from the small town on Hwy 1.

This the best vacation stay I've ever had.The space is exactly as pictured, with the ambiance that you project onto the photos. The kitchen is EXCELLENTLY stocked, and I say this as someone who normally brings their own supplies to cook in others' homes. I would venture so far to say that one could host a 50-person pop-up with the equipment and space in the kitchen.Some recommendations for the hosts and things for customers to know:1) The magnificent living room windows do not have any privacy shades. This feels quite exposed at night, surrounded by the darkness of the forest. I would feel safer and more secure with being able to lower privacy shades when it is dark outside so I could enjoy the lovely space of the living room and kitchen without the irrational worry that I'm on beautiful, wide-windowed display for someone lurking in the forest.2) The front door does not have a deadbolt lock, only a locking doorknob. I would feel more safe with a deadbolt or heavy duty doorstop for both the front door and patio sliding door, especially as I'm staying in a place with which I'm not very familiar.But even despite these things, I still believe this was the most beautiful place that I've had the joy of staying in. I would highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Great house!

Rolling the dice and booking a property without any reviews is always a little nerve-wrecking...but glad we pulled the trigger on this one! We could tell this was a new listing immediately upon arrival. From the brand-new unopened olive oil, the fluffy white towels, and the sparkling clean grill to the pristine dishware and and supplies, we were smitten. A few kinks need to be ironed out (no trash cans in the bathrooms, no door mat, and alas, no strainer for spaghetti) but nothing major was wrong, and all of these items were easily dealt with. We did want to tidy up around the fireplace, but could not locate a broom and dustpan anywhere! The brand-new well appointed options for spices were super appreciated...we were able to make an apple pie from scratch (after we bought a pie plate) and spaghetti sauce without having to buy extras. And just a tip to the owners...you might want to reconsider the shower enclosure in the master bath. The glass "wall" does very little to keep water from getting all over the floor We wish the weather had cooperated more, because the deck had what looked like amazing couches to hang out on...future guests will enjoy them for sure. The beds were comfortable, and as soon as that amazing Restoration Hardware leather couch is broken in and not so slippery, it will be awesome too. The cool modern chair was everyone's fave perch! We loved our stay at Rainbow Ridge and wouldn't hesitate to return.
