Very convenient , Metro only about a 5 min walk Pearl River even closer the only complaint ! have is the floor I was on was no smoking but people were smoking by the lift and that smoke could be smelled in my room at times.

Hotel was very close to the Metro (Yide Lu station) and lots of restaurants, convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. Staff were very accommodating; room was very clean and well maintained but it smelled like cigarette smoke, and it did not go away or dissipate at all the whole time we were there. Also, you have to type in 广洲大酒店 and not Guang Dong Hotel into your GPS app. The map (link) on Expedia was wrong; we were directed to the wrong hotel.

Disappointing

When I first arrived the staff tried to charge me for a room that I had already paid for, and were quite insistent that I pay. It was only after a number of times asking them to check again that they confirmed that I had paid already. Not the most welcoming start to my stay! The hotel itself is quite dated. The room was in need of modernisation, and had quite a stale smell. It didn't feel particularly clean. Very glad I only had to stay here for one night!

not-so-good experience.

it was not-so-good experience. i have book earlier. unfortunately upon check-in my booking is not in their list neither record. i am shock due i have already make a full payment. lucky i have printed my itinerary as a proved. they still refuse to check me in. after waiting for an hour and appeal to them, and since it almost night time, 1 of their manager check me in due to there is a vacant. but they ask me for a high price of deposits. I'm so disappointed as i have read a same scenario by a guest before.

It was ok, the room is ok. Bathroom is too small and no wifi. It has wifi according to the staff but you can connect to anything...ist's always liading 99% of the time...
