The rooms and locations are a bit old. Understood renovations are ongoing and they keep checking people in. Some of the staff are really very courteous. All the same rooms are clean. They can improve a lot more by being more responsive on their lines.
Clean and cozy environment, hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel location is near MTR station (沙河站), line 6. The quality of breakfast is above my expectations.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and quiet, with the downside that it is a little outside the city center, which is fine, because metro stations are fairly nearby (or you hail a Didi/Taxi). The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Most of them could speak basic to good English, which is not common in China, so it is worth mentioning. Unlike other accommodations, delivery drivers are not allowed to enter the hotel themselves and instead drop off the delivery to staff, who will quickly transport it through automated robots to your room. If you experienced other hotels who allow "everyone" to come right in front of your doorstep and swarm the elevators, you really appreciate this.
If I'm again in Guangzhou, I'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel is clean and comfortable to be in. The room service person, 周丽英 helped to maintain the cleanliness daily thoughout the whole duration (more than 10 days) I was there.

Very Friendly staff! But location is a bit off. Breakfast was good!
Clean renovated rooms, check in was late due to canton fair rush. Breakfast is ok with a reasonable spread.
Location not far from city centre, however the traffic is bad in Guangzhou during the trade fair.
Great hotel to stay. Special mention to the front desk staff very helpful in sorting out details and providing any extra help needed. Rooms are spacious enough to be clean and well decorated. However, the bath towels were a bit old and even had holes and were pilling.
We booked for our 2days canton fair trip. Service was nice and professional, rooms were nice and clean, breakfast choice is good, and there is shuttle bus to canton fair which is convenient.
It’s the third time we stay at this hotel for the Cantón Fair. It’s not very conveniently located as there are very few places in walking distance. But it’s a nice, affordable and sure place to stay.
It’s about 30 to 45 minutes away from the fair, but there’s a shuttle bus to take you back and forth.
Otherwise we move a lot using Didi and visiting Tianhe area with many dining and shopping options, relatively close.
It is a Hilton GARDEN hotel - does not have a pool or others that you expect in a 5 star hilton property - that is the only shortfall . The staff were great- the food was great.. everything was really nice about the property
Clean and modern room. Staff is efficient and friendly
The location is not close to the subway and the surrounding has less shopping than other hotels.
This hotel does not have a business center. As I needed to print 5-6pages to out, front desk employees asked me to use the shop outside around 8:35 pm in a heavy rainy day.
Caesar salad was even the worst. Normally, prime cost accounts for about 35-40% in Food service sectors(Rest.). As far as I can tell, I assumed that it was about 10-15%
The bed was clean which is the most important part, but the bathroom counters were dirty, the room smelled like wet mildew, towels were old and worn out. Walls are paper thin and you can hear every knock and conversation in the hallways. I would suggest bringing ear plugs. If you try to call front desk or room service, it always takes several tries before they answer, and I was never actually able to order room service when I attempted, as the “person that takes order is not here”. Very old property and the neighborhood is…not great. Doesn’t really have any convenience stores around and the area is extra polluted as it’s more of a workers area with people working on metal/rubber nearby. Don’t be fooled by the Hilton name, you’re just paying Hilton prices and would be better off staying in a local hotel.
