B'AMU Hotel & Spa

"B’AMU was my favorite accommodation in Busan and Korea in general! Location: Excellent location in Gwangali, Busan. It was right across Gwangali beach next to the line of buildings with walkable cafes, restaurants, and entertainment. Property: The property was clean and we noted that they did offer a parking area. We did not have a car but from the main entrance, it was a little inconvenient to get to the lobby because you had to carry your bags up 1 flight of stairs to reach the elevator to go to the main lobby. Lobby: The lobby was small. The staff were English speaking and friendly. They sat us down to speak about the amenities you can choose from (i.e. different hair dryers). They were able to store our luggage before check in. We appreciated that they delivered our luggages directly to our room when we came back and they even escorted us into the room. Food: They provided breakfast and gave us 2 options, which were not basic. I opted for the abalone porridge. Room: We stayed in the premium ocean king. The room was beautiful and large. It had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living area with a large spa/ tub all overlooking the beautiful city and ocean skyline. It had a large fridge and they provided water. It had a lot of empty cabinets and we wished it had a microwave/ a stove. The beds were soft and comfortable. Bathroom: Clean and with many amenities. I appreciated that the toilet room was separate from the shower room but I wish the toilet room had a sink."

"I had arrived at noon from Seoul and early check in is really not a thing with this hotel. However, the great thing is that they provide complimentary baggage lockers to hold your things whilst you explore the area. The room itself was very spacious and modern. Comes with the usual amenities as you would expect. I had hoped that had a bedside usb charger but it didn’t which was a tad inconvenient but did have a charger outlet. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to check out the pool and gym but with the beach only 2 minutes away, why not go there instead. Staff were ok. Not super friendly but not rude. It seems like it’s a self service kinda model with check in counter, snacks pantry and entertainment items (AirPods, gaming consoles etc) are self service. Another convenient thing is there is a 7 Eleven at the ground level of he building and McDonalds literally the building next door."
