「Everything about property was great. The only slight downgrade at the moment is that the dining room is being renovated and is behind the original schedule. Sounds like it will be great when completed.」

「Room was cozy, clean accessible to everything. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was nice.」

「Room was nice, updates are certainly lacking however place was clean and functional, nice views as well. Enjoyed the tiki bar, staff was very pleasant」

「The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and even though the motel is located on highway 12 it was quiet for sleeping at night. On improving the property, I would have to say the rooms were small and could you use an update. Since the cabins were built in 1948 it follows the style of that time period, and could you use an update. The bathroom facilities were small and old. And update would be welcomed.」

「Overall , everything was fine. A little outdated, no frills but adequate for a weekend meeting. Very convenient for our meetings, meals and tourist attractions. It may not be at the top of my list but certainly exceeds many other places I have stayed. I would not hesitate to recommend the facility to others.」

「What a beautiful house and great staff, met us at the door gave us a great tour, owner was very responsive and an absolute delight to do business with. If you’re looking somewhere to stay in the Alexandria Bay Area I highly suggest this place! Clean comfy quiet beautiful property. Added bonus is right on a golf coarse also!」

「Room was clean. Need to stock more than 2 towels per room. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was loud and didn’t work well.」

「With a little walk down the hill there was seats to sit and watch the sunset on the lake !!! It was an amazing view . There was also a nice fire pit to enjoy outside.」
