“Unusual property, perfect location next to Marwell zoo. Staff very attentive & helpful, especially the receptionist who checked us in. Swimming pool area a little dated, with dangerously slippery floor. Used restaurant for evening meal, food overpriced for what we had, also hot offerings at breakfast were cold”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. Loved reading about the history of the hotel and had a great breakfast. The bar looked like a cosy place for a drink but sadly we ran out of time to try it out. We’d recommend this hotel. ”

“We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in……
