「This is a great place. So accommodating and the staff is wonderful. A new England style inn, with a vintage vibe. Very clean,quiet and comfortable. You'll love it. We did!」

「The woman that checked us in was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. All the necessary soaps and linens were available. The bed was a little softer than we are used to, but still very comfortable. The A/C unit was easy to control. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fresh! A good assortment of cereals, bakery items, juice, hot items (make your own waffles, a pre-made omelet tea, sausage patties and home fries). Would definitely book this hotel again.」

「Room was satisfactory. Folks at the front desk were terrific! Friday’s breakfast left something to be desired; the coffee was especially questionable. Saturday’s breakfast was much better. I still did not drink the coffee, though.」

「Beautiful property & grounds . Extremely well appointed and clean . Staff was excellent. Didn’t get a chance to visit the restaurant as it was closed for a private event , but looked very nice . A wedding was taking place onsite while we were there . Very nice spot to consider for a small intimate wedding」

「The location of this property was great, on the perimeter of downtown Portsmouth which is a wonderful little city. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, both for good selection and the taste. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in my room. The AC unit is the loudest I've ever heard. A few times I thought it was a nearby train when it started running. Also the people in the room above me woke me up at 1 AM doing something. I didn't hear voices...

The location is very good, shopping and dining are convenient, the front desk is fast, the room has no odor, the location is easy to find, and there is free wireless internet. I chose a family room, that can accommodate 5 people. The price is very cost-effective and the stay experience is good! It is worth recommending this hotel.」

「Mattress was comfortable but we did have to ask for a set of sheet for the pull out couch. Staff was polite, breakfast was basically good though I had 3 kids with me that wanted pancakes but the pancake maker was broken. The cinnamon rolls were amazing! Location was convenient. Pool area was very tidy and clean and did have towels available. There was no coffee pot in the room. Being that we had a number of people staying, which was disclosed with the reservation, they're definitely could have...

「The room was nice and pretty, and we were able to get in a little early, but I did not feel as though it was that clean. the room smelled musty in some areas, and there were spiders in others. I am glad we were there for only one night.」
