“The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . ”

“A superb night away from home in a beautiful area. The Pheasant is immaculately maintained. The rooms are stylish and scrupulously clean. The restaurants, again, are beautifully decorated and the food is perfect. Staff are all friendly, polite and generally lovely. I can’t recommend this place too highly.”

“The Hotel was presented well on the drive up to the carpark, well maintained and clean, The entrance to the reception area was lovely, Christmas trees and plants a very nice touch. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, a smooth check in. We got upgraded to a larger newly decorated room, which was spacious and clean, two negatives the bed was very hard for us , only our preference. The next was the room had a extraction system in it that ran all night which disrupt your sleep.……

“We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! The room was well equipped and we had a lovely view of the gardens. The breakfast was outstanding. A great base for travelling around Shropshire- such good value for money. Well done all ”

“Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings.
We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals. “This is a little gem of a place with the rooms opposite the pub, they could not do enough for us from making us welcome to excellent food and impeccable service.
If you’re looking for a bit of quiet and out of town so noises to a minimum this is ideal and we couldn’t recommend anything better, there was nothing to fault.
Thank you to the staff who were amazing, this break was awesome given my situation looking after my mother with dementia so felt so relaxed whilst here, the staff really get to……
