The trail is just under 4 miles to the end and back. Watch out for pygmy rattlesnakes, black widows, ticks, and mosquitoes. It's a great way to see a piece of wild, undisturbed Florida. #hiking
The beginning of the hiking trail. It's gets a lot more "woodsy" the further you go down the trail. Ticks and mosquitoes abound. I would recommend visiting this park in the winter months to avoid the blood sucking critters. #takeahike
A beautiful hiking trail on Hontoon Island. Free ferry ride onto the island and free entry. Very cheap tent and cabin camping available. #takeahike

While the property was a bit dated, it was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread in the morning was good. The tub dripped, so the bathroom door had to be shut so you didn't hear it. We were on the top floor so the traffic from I4 can be heard through the bathroom vent and ...
