「This is definitely a budget hotel without budget prices. When we arrived there was dark hair in the shower and ants all over the bathroom. We pulled out the sofa bed and the sheets were filthy and obviously used and not changed. That bed was unusable. The sheets in the main bed were stained but seemed clean. 「I LOVED the Salem Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was such an amazing addition and the staff were friendly and helpful. The witches brew coffee was a fun way to start a day in Salem. I stayed in the Curwen House and it had a sherry nightcap available every evening - which was such a cute and fun touch. The location is perfect because it is right downtown, without being on top of the action - so you can walk 5 minutes but still have your quiet room at...

「The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. 」

「They added a $10 a day parking fee. The other hotel chains I normally stay at don't do that. They also advertise free internet but you need to make an account to access it. The speeds for their "free" package were so slow that even watching Netflix on their room TV kept buffering and dropping quality. The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean but I wouldn't stay again with Marriot or this location.」
