"The location is perfect it’s within walking distance to Essex st and the wharf. It was very clean including the room we stayed in and seemed like a safe enough area. The free breakfast was a plus !."

"So happy with The Cove. My family and I are doing a tour of New England and this was our 3rd Stop. The stay couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The outdoor facilities were great, it was nice to make a home cooked meal on the grill after days of eating out. It was nice and relaxing to sit out by the firetable and my family loves a good competition, and a couple games of Foosball and Shuffle Board where a great way to end the day. Every staff member I encountered was nice and helpful. If I’m ever in the Salem area again, I would absolutely stay at The Cove Again."

"We stayed 3 nights in the East India Room and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the area. The decor is amazing and the house itself is perfectly spooky! The property is clean and well maintained, the owner is professional and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated the convenient self-check-in with a door code, which made arrival simple and hassle-free. Our only minor disappointment was the prepackaged cereal breakfast. We had expected something more like a traditional Days Inn style breakfast with eggs, sausage, ect…We noticed everyone groaned over the missing advertised breakfast….That said, it wasn’t a significant issue since there are plenty of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Location is amazing, There is an assigned parking spot. The property was quiet and all in all we had a wonderful stay!"

"Right on Essex St this little apartment was exactly what we needed. Its small, 1 bedroom 1 bath with a pullout couch and an apartment sized kitchen that includes W/D (bonus points). It's a luxury to enjoy such a tourist driven town when you have a promised (free) parking space 24/7 within walking distance to the heart of Salem. Coffee and donuts next door and a convenient store within a minute walk is a bonus. Will likely return."
