「The was clean and the mattress was excellent. The bathroom had some type of black residue on top of counter but staff came immediately to clean. Two things that I did not like,No one came to service room the next day or asked if clean towels were needed and when checking in I was told that I would have put down a $100.00 deposit that I was not aware of. We checked out at 3:00 am in the morning and did receive the deposit back. Take pictures before you unpack also when viewing the room it show...

「I must have had a newer room during my last stay, because the room I was in did show some wear and tear. The day I tried to use the ironing board, it fell apart on me. I called the front desk and reported it and maintenance brought a replacement right away. Also, I stayed four nights and chose not to have my room cleaned until the third day. When I did request the room to be cleaned it was not; they said they were down two housekeepers so it was not done. So, I just asked for extra towels.」

「This was such a unique experience and was most of the most beautiful hotels I've enjoyed. The location (just steps away from charming downtown St. Joe, MI and Lake Michigan) is wonderful, and the historical significance was so special. The Speakeasy was so much fun on a Saturday night and the drinks were DELICIOUS. The continental breakfast was tasty and fresh and very convenient. Could not gush more about what a special place this is!」

「This hotel is adorable ! It also has a good restaurant with good drinks . However, if you need to sleep I would reconsider. We arrived on Friday and we enjoyed the live music which stopped at 10 pm -then the dj started. Not only could we hear all the voices from the restaurant below but also the loud music. We were lucky to get 4 hours of sleep. We also rented a king room with a twin. The twin bed was more of a toddler size bed. Its too bad because the hotel is really adorable」

「Amazing stay!!! Clean rooms and super friendly staff!!! Rooms were spacious and the beds so comfortable!!! We will definitely stay there again!!!!」
