“The issue I had, which I shared with the owner was that from the description, add on services available, and photos we thought we were renting an entire place for a short friends reunion weekend. The description was a vacation home on a lake and it is 2 bedrooms with bathrooms under a real estate office. The coffee maker and fridge are in the bathroom. The area is quiet and nice, its about 30 min to Galena, which was where we went each day. There is a marina, a pool, and a beach close but……

“This is a quiet cabin in the country which was the perfect base to visit Shawnee National Forest from. It had A/C, WIFI, and QUIET which are all the things I was looking for. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and our hosts were great to bring over a new coffee maker when the one in the cabin stopped working. It was a nice and relaxing trip with easy access to dining and scenery. Really enjoyable.”

“Quite woodland retreat. A wonderful cabin with two beds and a sitting area with TV and eating area. Great size room, not far from the main building where you order your dinner to go and eat it in your cabin due to COVID Friendly staff Bring your shampoo and conditioner ”
