“We came to Cheboygan to do volunteer work. As a result we were gone from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night. We didn't have much time to enjoy all the place offers. That being said, the cabin was very comfortable and super clean. Everything we needed for the stay was provided. The bed was very comfortable too. The only issue we had was connecting to the Internet with our phones. It was very spotty which was frustrating at times. If you want a very nice place to stay that gives a……

“This was such a quaint little cabin. We were right on the lake. Once we left the paved road, I was getting a little concerned. It is really hidden back in the woods, but when we pulled up, the owner was right there to welcome us. He was so nice. It was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again!”

“The cabin is very rustic, as advertised, vey quiet and the lake outside the back door was so peaceful! Richie was there to greet us and answer any questions we had about the cabin. Also the information we received ahead of time helped us have everything that we needed with us. The location was so close to everywhere that we wanted to visit, so we loved that! “Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins.”

“The peaceful lakefront location is unbeatable and staff were very kind and responsive to our requests, and even upgraded us to a larger cabin. The clubhouse is also clean, bright and well-equipped. The cabins would be much more comfortable if they were upgraded to the same level as the clubhouse, e.g,, remove the carpets, add better lighting, and update bathrooms.”
