“Stunning, but left feeling very disappointed. We paid €346 for one night (two adults, one teenager and two dogs to stay in the Junior suite, room 309 in the clock tower) Without question, the property is absolutely stunning and in a very peaceful location/landscape. We had driven from Manchester, England at 6 am and after a two hour delay on the Eurotunnel, we finally reached the Château at 1930hrs. On arrival, we will show to our room and tell that there were no bar or food facilities, and……

“Heel tof domain”

“On arrival hot tub disgusting not fit to use, however this was rectified quickly and sorted on the Monday. 1st floor toilet out of order meaning guest had to use toilet on other floors which was very inconvenient with children. Curtain poles in bedroom fell down every time a window was opened or closed. No lamps worked in that bedroom and several light bulbs were not working throughout the property. It was very dark downstairs lighting could do with upgrading. No hand basin in downstairs……

“The house was just as described; all the rooms were clean, kitchen was stocked appropriately. All we had to do was buy the food we wanted! The area was bucolic and beautiful; wonderful local walking roads!Definitely consider coming again; good spot to stop for a few days before going on to Normandy and Brittany.”

“Clean, tidy gite. Very peaceful & quiet, lovely gardens. Lots of info for attractions locally. Christine showed us places to go & made various suggestions, very helpful. Parking on a steep incline, not ideal.Stairs very narrow, need to bend down whilst walking up & downstairs, hazardous, easy to bang head on the solid wood. Need to put something like a fluorescent strip or padding to make guests aware. Only had net curtains at very large window, unsure why the curtains ( as seen in photo's on……
