“The hotel was clean and staff were very attentive. The free activities (bikes, kayak, paddle boards) were easy to use as the cove allowed for privacy from boats passing by. The food options were delicious. The free breakfast gave a mix of continental options and Colombian options. We would definitely stay there again.”

“They have lots of problems with the water supply. We didn’t have water to use for at least half the time we were there. Frustrating. Also there is not hot water.”

“After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. We experienced a few issues both before and during our stay, but they handled everything quickly and resolved them in the best possible way, which made us forget about them.
