Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Burnside Cottage is a traditional, quaint, simple self-catering cottage set in a peaceful, rural location. Surrounded by fields, trees and a running burn, the cottage is accessed via a coarse track from the main road. If you’re looking for a secluded property, then Burnside Cottage provides a good location for you to relax and get away from it all. The cottage enjoys beautiful views over fields from a small enclosed garden set in further surrounding lawn. There is the benefit of a downstairs bedroom and shower room, ideal for less mobile guests. Situated just 6 miles from the village of Blackwaterfoot where you will find a grocery shop, butchers, golf club, post office, beach and a hotel with bar, restaurant and leisure facilities.
Please note: There is a narrow steep staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms at the property. WiFi and televison signal can at times of poor weather be unreliable because of the cottage’s isolated location. Although there is accommodation for a maximum of 6 people and this may suit families with children, the owners advise that if adults only are planning a visit then it may be more suitable for 4 (rather than 6) residents

Pets: Your dog is welcome at the property but you will need to bring your own dog bowls and bed. The owner requests that dogs are kept off the furniture and all dog mess is removed from all outside areas of the property. Pets should not be left in the property unattended at any time. Off road parking outside the house for 1-2 cars.

Approach to property is by a rough or gravel track.
