“The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna.”

“My family had a lovely time at Frances's Scotland abode! She was so quick to reply to any queries and having a short walk to the beach was pretty special. ”

“This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. We particularly enjoyed the local walks from the resort which we purchased from reception for £1 on arrival. “Wow. What a lovely location! Our family of four stayed here for a night on our way out to the Isle of Skye, and we could not have been more pleased. The home is set in a beautiful glen between mountains. It is near the Glencoe visitor center, where we were able to plan out a local hike. There is a greenway trail you will pass over on the driveway that leads to the home. That greenway is a very nicely improved walking path that passes by farmland and a stream.
