「Good communication from the owner before we arrived. Property was an old cottage, but quaint and clean and had everything we needed except milk or sugar. The washer and dryer was a bonus. 」

Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities.」

「This is the 4th time we have stayed at Tigh-na-Camus. It is in a beautiful location and an excellent place to get away from it all and relax. The cottage is very comfortable and has the best sunroom on the front overlooking the water. Will definitely book again.」

「We have stayed in An Gearasdan on a number of occasions and have been visiting Glenelg for over 24 years. The property is lovely, very well set out and perfect for groups and a couple of dogs. The view down the sound is spectacular and the locals are lovely. We cannot fault the house or location and hope to return for many more years.」

Two improvements would be helpful - we had 6 people and number of glasses and basic dishes were exact at six or a little less in some categories, which was inconvenient. 「Stayed in the cabins. They were amazing! Full kitchen and little dining area and couch with a coffee table. Very nice bathroom with large shower and extremely comfortable bed! Best night sleep I had on my trip! Also the restaurant there is really fabulous! And it’s just a quick 10 minute walk to the grocery store and cute shops! Great location and will definitely stay there again. :)」
