En general pasamos una buena experiencia. Nos acompañaban niños y adultos mayores. La comida de los restaurantes tiene buen sabor y con excelente variedad. El personal es muy atento, amable y eficiente. Las albercas siempre limpias. Los problemas que tuvimos fueron durante el check in. Hablé tres veces para asegurar que la habitación de los adultos mayores tuviera dos camas y las facilidades para silla de ruedas. Y nos entregaron una habitación con solo una cama, aunque sí tenía las facilidades de sillas de ruedas. Pero esto ocasionó incomodidades. También me asignaron la habitación 1105, la cual se encuentra exactamente debajo del lobby bar. El ruido no deja dormir y las paredes tiemblan con todo el zapáteo. Otro punto que me parece importante es que no hay una rampa para silla de ruedas al lado del lobby bar para acceder al elevador que lleva a Plaza Mexicana, lo que ocasiona incomodidad para las personas que lleven bastón o silla de ruedas y que qusieran tomar esa ruta. En una ocasión dejé el letrero de privacidad en la puerta. Y en varias ocasiones el equipo de limpieza intentó abrir la puerta y entrar. Y después de como una hora, llamaron por teléfono para ver si quería limpieza de la habitación. Lo que hacer que el letrero de privacidad no sirva para nada, porque yo quería dormir durante el día porque me sentía mal, pero se la pasaron molestando de una u otra manera.

Desafortunadamente tocó que había una convención judía y era incómodo el salir del hotel porque decían que era una zona restringida tenía que explicar que iba a salir del hotel y la verdad más adelante volver a explicar que iba a salir en este caso fuimos al Cocodrilario y al Partenón otro día y que te digan que no puedes andar por ahí siendo la única salida pues si fue un poco incómodo porque sino quieren que uno salga por la única salida que tienen pues hagan otra

The room, grounds and amenities were all clean and well maintained. The service and staff outside of the front desk were all amazing. We found the people working the front desk to be a little rude and unhelpful. Maybe this was because I do not speak fluent spanish.

No vayan, el tercer piso huele a caño, toda la Noche se oye su cuarto de máquinas en la Mitad del hotel. Tiene el gimnasio más feo que he visto en un hotel. No sirven sus escaleras eléctricas. En general, es un hotel bonito y muy completo y grande, pero de las tres habitaciones que nos dieron, a aún no le servía el aire acondicionado, sólo sacaba ruido y nos dijeron en Recepcion que teníamos que esperar para que se enfriara cosa que nunca pasó y no volvimos a reportarlo y ya que de por sí, se tardaron mucho en atender nuestra primer solicitud para decirnos que no había falla , esa habitación también tenía cucarachas. The hotel overall was okay. The food and drinks were okay as well nothing special. We arrived around 5pm and could not find food because the restaurants were closed and wouldn’t be open till dinner so the only thing that was left was the lunch buffet by the pool. Stale fries and only 3 hamburgers left. We were a group of 12 and the employees seemed annoyed that we were such a big group. It’s also a very small seating area so we had to stand while we ate because we were not allowed to take our food to the lounge chairs next to the pool. This was the first hotel that I’ve stayed at where you can’t order food while hanging out at the lounge chairs.

Been here several times and it has always been very nice! The swim up bar in pool is a nice touch, and being an inclusive resort you might expect some of the drinks would be made with lessor ingredients but not true here, things like a G&T is being made with Beefeaters english gin! which is among the best gin made! food is good, but you have to work at looking at the options at the various restaurants so that you do not get tired of food options. Take advantage of the Oyster Bar restaurant or steak bar as the food is excellent and diverse. Walk down to the crocodile and iguana park to view them. Nice collection of simple shops there too to mostly get simple things, tshirts, nick nacks to take home. Daughter always enjoys doing some craft things they have a ceramic painting booth where for a little money you can pick out ceramic animals and items and paint the color glaze on them and then return the next day to pickup a newly fired item!

We enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely room with two beds, a separate bathroom with tub and a huge balcony. The view from our room was unobstructed. We watched the sunset which was spectacular over Ixtapa Island. The staff was professional and friendly and because the hotel was not full we were able to eat in the lovely Oyster Bar Restaurant several times. We had breakfast in Colores every morning. I am not impressed with the "dog friendly" aspect of the hotel. The nicest seats near the front with the view and air flow are reserved for people with dogs. These people are choosing food from the buffet without washing their hands first. We went our on the sailboat twice for a little tour out in front of the hotel and saw the beaches of Azul Grand and the old Club Med site. There was a Karaoke hour from 9-10 every night followed by disco and dancing which was fun. Overall we spent the week at the hotel by the pool, walking the beach and just relaxing. We would definitely return.
