「There was some construction going on, but it was not a distraction to the rest of the property. The main TV did not work, said it was downloading an update or something. The one in the bedroom worked. The breakfast in the morning was...ummm... barely. But better choices were available nearby.」

「This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street.
