Outside Oasis

House is as described, plenty of room for our party of four. Communication with the property management company is excellent they certainly make sure you have everything you need from start to finish. The outside pool area is fantastic and the close proximity to the beach is amazing.

Lovely home

First off-neither the pool or hot tub are heated. I wish I had noticed that before we booked. Other than that the house, yard and pool were very nice. Close to the beach, well appointed and clean. The property manager was very helpful.

Great vacation

We had a great time at the Mermaid Cottage. The house was comfortable and the backyard was amazing. Keep in mind that the pool and spa are not heated so they can be chilly later in the year. The extra space in the pool house was a great bonus. The home is in a fantastic location which is close to two beach access points.

BEST PLACE WE’VE EVER STAYED!

This house is perfectly located! The outdoor space is AMAZING! (The grill area needs a little love but other than that it’s GREAT!) Our entire family loved it! We rented a golf cart for the week from Ewheelz and they are great as well! We enjoyed hopping on the golf cart and going downtown too! All in all I could live in this space!! Beds were comfortable too!

Fantastic home!! We will be back!

Fantastic stay at this well-equipped beach home! Convenient two minute walk to the beach right across the street. Pool area is beautifully designed with a pool house and tiki hut grilling area. Beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for eating meals at home but we also took advantage of the delicious restaurants in the downtown area which is only a 5 minute drive. This home was exactly what we were hoping for on our beach vacation. We’ll definitely be back again!

My husband and I (53 years old) traveled with our parents so 4 of us were 78 to 87 years old. A one story was hard to find but we thought it would work by looking at the pictures. The house had steps without rails to enter but luckily we drove by in January so we bought a portable wheel chair ramp to enter. The front door is partly rusted shut so no wheelchair could enter so it took a lot to get our wheelchair bound guest in and out. The house has many levels and the pictures did not show that. I know handicapped accessible is not required but update the pictures to show it is not meant for walkers and wheelchairs. Plus there are directions for everything else so why not the gas stove? We broiled our biscuits the first morning but did find the manual online for future cooking.

Nice clean home. Would stay again.

The house itself is wonderful. Looks just like the photos. Very well stocked & clean. Nice layout. The grilling area is a plus. Short walk to the beach but you do have to cross a busy road to get there. Only 10 minutes from shops. The only complaints we had was the pool house had a horrible smell- Kind of a moldy smell. Anything that was in there for very long ended up smelling like that. My mother was staying in there to have her own space and all of her things will have to be washed due to them smelling. The master bathroom also has a sewer smell coming out of the shower drain the whole week. Also, the pool was very cold. It was okay for the kids, however it was on the cold side for the adults.We did have a very rainy week & there is flooding everywhere. Probably the cause of the smells & the cold pool. Wish we had a better week as far as weather goes, but as far as the home is considered- would stay again.
