"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was good although limited range, but OK for a budget price hotel.
The rooms are rather tired and in need of refurbishment and not particularly clean - some dust, stained surfaces, mould in the shower and damp smell in the bathroom, and strange yellow stains on the bed sheets and towels."

"Amazing hotel. This is our third time to the Ayana group. Twice Rimba, once Ayana. It’s a beautiful hotel with incredible facilities. 24 restaurants / bars and 14 pools across Ayana. The staff are fantastic, so attentive and everyone greets you when they walk past you. Loved the tea house at Rimba, so pretty. Also liked that there was an adult pool. We received beautiful cakes with a note saying thank you for returning to Rimba which was such a lovely touch.
We even got an upgrade on our room which we are so appreciative. Our only disappointment was where we were sat at the Rock bar as we weren’t near the water and were on one of the back tables. However I’ve still given 5 stars for the actual hotel.
Our only regret is not staying longer. "

"We had a great stay at Cross Breakers. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, but what really made the experience special was the staff.
Sari was the highlight of our mornings—her smile and positive energy were truly uplifting. Angus brought us our coffee each day and kindly helped us find the spa when we got lost. On our first day, a kind server (wish we got his name!) took the time to explain the local currency, which helped us a lot. And Ninda made sure every request we had was taken care of quickly and smoothly.
