"Great hotel, well located and friendly staff"

"Exceptional hotel with stunning views of the lake and Mount Fuji. Perched alone on top of the hill it had a slight Shining feel to it. It has retained its chic 1960s decor. The food is highly priced, but it was a simple shuttle ride down to the town and we had the pleasure of dining at Shoya restaurant which was also a highlight of our trip. "

The breakfast is vast with Japanese options and sufficient western options like fruits, breads and meats."
