“Everything is good though the living room / kitchen area is a bit tiny for 6 people to use. Supposed to have washroom for each room but turn out some are locked hence two rooms need to share 1 washroom. Would be better if this can be stated in the property description”

It has great access to the train, and for whatever reason, Taxis (booked on Uber) show up in mere mins, every time. We considered this property an excellent fit for our needs. Book a stay, you’ll be glad you did. ”

“This property worked great for our family of 5. We didn't realize we had booked multi level property, it is separated into 4 levels. Our kids loved each staying on their own level. We could prominently hear street traffic and noise. We appreciated the option to store our luggage at the property - the host is very communicative and helpful. We loved our time in Ueno.”

“If you want a little more room than a typical Tokyo hotel, this is a great place to stay. It has 2 bedrooms. You get to learn more about post WWII life here too. It is next to Family Mart and a shrine. It is a little noisy from proximity to a busy street, but it was worth it for us.The hosts were very helpful with recommendations on things to see and places to eat. They also helped us with train schedules and how to get around Tokyo.Heater/air conditioner worked well and we were very comfortable……

“The property felt traditional yet everything was quite modern and comfortable. The kids loved sleeping on the tatami mats with futons. All rooms were air conditioned. The spacious shower and bath room was a win. The room downstairs was handy for the elderly people. Very close to temple, river ferry, underground, ramen shops, convenience stores and the like. Would recommend to any type of group.”
