"We checked in with friends and were horrified to find a dusgusting property that reeked of mold, had disgusting things in the refridgerator such as someone’s needles and dirty kitchen drawers. We were so shocked and revolted that we left although we had just purchased 500 worth of groceries. I have stayed at numerous vrbo’s and never had an issue until now. Trying to get a refund. "Everything about this property was incredible. It was off the charts. The food was by far the best I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive resort. Everything was fresh, selections were plentiful and diverse, and the recipes were delicious. The staff was accommodating, helpful, and friendly, and anytime I even considered needing something, they had it ready for me before I could finish my sentence. The speakeasy was absolutely adorable. I wish I got to enjoy it more than one night because one of the nights of my stay they were closed, but it is such a fun and cozy little hangout spot! The pool was gorgeous and the service was just spectacular. The room was immaculate… Actually the entire resort was immaculate and extremely secure as well. After taking a taxi back from an adventure, we had to show ID and our hotel wristbands to get in past security because the resort operates like a gated community to ensure only guests enter. Overall, an incredible experience, and I can’t wait to return in the future."

"We came in July, which is considered as low season, which is good and bad. Good as it is not too busy and we were able to eat in the restaurants we wanted, didn’t have to wait long for a table at the buffet restaurants and were easily able to do the activities we wanted. Downside is the seaweed which meant the beach was not accessible and not all restaurants were opened, and those that were opened, weren’t opened all the time. All staff were helpful, and we had David and Cielo as our concierge, who were super helpful for us at Villa 59. Highly recommended. Saw wildlife, coatis, agoutis, iguanas, plenty of birds and even a small snake."
